We are aiming to showcase high-quality items from local disabled entrepreneurs and businesses that support people with disabilities. Therefore, the beautifully packaged products you see in the pictures represent what you will receive in the Special Gift Box. You should note that the specific flavours of chutney and scents may vary depending on the season. Similarly, occasionally for reasons beyond our control, we will need to substitute an item. If this occurs you will be notified and the item will be of the same or higher value. If you have specific requests, please get in contact.

Although we think that all of the products from the local disabled entrepreneurs and businesses supporting people with disabilities are excellent, we understand that people may wish to make the Special Gift box to their personal specifications. We are happy to assist with this; please just contact us with your request.

We would love to talk with people or organisations that are looking to provide Special Gift boxes as part of their corporate gifting. We offer free shipping for orders over $200 and for orders of more than 15 boxes, we are happy to discuss discounted rates. Please contact us directly to discuss your needs.

We are happy to organise the delivery of Special Gift boxes throughout New Zealand. We have shipping that starts at $7 per box throughout the rest of New Zealand. If you want to purchase more than one box, please contact us so we can organise a discounted shipping rate. 

We understand that sometimes events happen, so you may need to cancel your order. However, we do not want our disabled entrepreneurs to be financially disadvantaged. Therefore, if you wish to cancel your Special Gift Box, please see our Cancellation Policy below.

Standard orders

If we have yet to ship out the boxes, we will provide a 30% refund. If the box has been shipped, we cannot offer a refund.

Pre-ordered for Christmas

Our partners have a range of lead times and varying shelf lives on their products, so we work with them on an order-by-order basis. We generally have a 2-week lead time for bulk Christmas orders to ensure that the high-quality products in your Special Gift Box arrive in top condition. So, if you need to cancel your order, we can give you a full refund if you let us know at least two weeks before your scheduled delivery date. If you notify us less than two weeks before your scheduled delivery date and we have already ordered items for your SpecialGift box, we can provide a 30% refund for the cancellation.

We aim to deliver in 2 to 3 working days. However, some factors that are sometimes beyond our control impact delivery times. Therefore, we recommend leaving 5 to 7 days to ensure delivery.

We also encourage organisations to pre-order their boxes for Christmas, as we only have a limited supply. You can pre-order anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 months away.

If you require urgent delivery of Special Gift Boxes, please get in touch with us, contact us, and we will see what we can arrange. 

So that you know, orders larger than 50 Special Gift boxes may have a longer lead time of at least two weeks. However, if we cannot fulfil your order within your required time frame, we will contact you to discuss options. 

We will let you know once your item is sent out for delivery, and we will send you tracking details. 

As we source only high-quality items from local disabled entrepreneurs and businesses supporting people with disabilities, we do not believe there will be issues with the quality of the products in the Special Gift Boxes. However, if there is a quality issue, please contact us within seven days of receiving the SpecialGifts box.

Refunds, partial refunds or exchanges will be provided where the SpecialGift box:
– is missing products 
– contains incorrect items
– is damaged in transit by the delivery company
– is not received due to an error by SpecialGifts
– An item is defective or damaged

Please keep in mind that every Special Gift Box is hand-packed. Some products are seasonal, limited edition, or limited in supply, so there may be slight variations from box to box, such as the placement and packaging. Where there are likely to be differences in the specific product provided, this is noted in the product description. 

If you have a problem with your Special Gift Box, please email us at [email protected] with your order number and a photo of the Special Gift Box as it was received. Once we have inspected it, we will email you to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement. 

We’ll contact you to organise shipping details if you’re approved for a replacement.

If you are approved for a refund, your refund will be processed and applied back to your original payment method. Once processed, the payment provider will issue this within a few days.
