Two4Nine

Studio 74 is a social enterprise where passionate artists with intellectual disabilities craft beautiful, high-quality porcelain mugs, each one a unique celebration of creativity, community, and care.
In our West Auckland studio, every mug begins as slip (liquid porcelain) carefully poured into moulds. Once shaped, the pieces are bisque fired, glazed by hand in natural tones of blue and green, then re-fired to create durable, functional works of art. No two mugs are ever exactly the same, each one carries the personality, intention, and artistry of its maker.
At Studio 74, the process is as important as the product. Our studio is a space where people grow in confidence, develop their artistic voice, and take pride in producing something beautiful. We challenge expectations about disability by showing what’s possible with the right support, patience, and passion.
More than just a cup, a Studio 74 mug makes your daily drink a little more special because it holds not just your coffee or tea, but the story and spirit of its maker.
Our values—Create – Belong – Celebrate—are present in every piece.
